The gathering of the Civics depart-

inent of the Woman's club before which Mary Locke Huron, of Toledo, Ohio, current events lecturer, will speak at 2:30 o'clock Tuesday afternoon will be held at the First English i Lutheran church instead of at the public library, it is announced by Mrs. i Ben Bartel)' department chairman. So I many clubwomen attended Mrs. Hur'on's address here last year that it iwas thought necessary to arrange for a kirger place of meeting to accommodate those who come to hear her next week. Tea will be serred following the lecture by Mrs. Huron. The annual meeting of the Country club which was postponed on account of the death of O. G. Murray, will be held Monday evening, Nov. 20 at the clubhouse. Dinner will be served at

6:30 o'clock. The annual election of

officers and award of golf trophies will follow the dinner. All members

of the club are urged to attend, and to make their dinner reservations as soon

as possible with the club steward.

- Chief among events of this week will

be the dance the Phi Delta Kappa fra

ternity Is giving Friday evening at the Eagles' club. The Syncopating Seven

will play the order of dances. About 600 invitations have been issued for the affair and a large number of persons are expected to attend as the orchestra is one of the most popular that

plays engagements here.
