The talk dealt with the establishment of the lad's proper function In the life of the home and the community. From the father's standpoint, the pastor attempted to show the real attitude of
the father toward his son exposing the great heart of the parent which is often seemingly hidden from the boy. .
Films Are Shown. Following the pastor's talk, two motion picture films were shown by H. A. Kern. Between films community
singing was enjoyed. Little Miss Genevieve McCune and Miss Mary Allen alternated in Binglng the verses of
"Brighten the Corner Where You Are,'

gram, Prof. George Stump of Earlham
college, who Is In charge of the coming
Christmas pageant to be given at the
church the first Parish night before Christmas, organized the younger and some of the older members of the
church and Sunday school so that re' hearsals, which are to be conducted ev
ery Parish night from now on, might
be better executed. He took: the younger children from 7 to 8 o'clock and the older members from 8 to 9 o'clock. The pageant arrangements provide for the
expenditure of a great deal of time and money and will be a decided departure from the usual type ofhri5tmas pageant. It is said.
