FATHERS, SOUS ENJOY u SPECIAL PROGRAMS IN LOCAL CHURCHES Numerous banquets and meetings have been planned and are being held in local churches this week in observance of the national Father and Son week program. The first of these
was held Wednesday night at Reidj Memorial church when about BO fathers and sons assembled at the church for a banquet and program. The nnique feature of the evening was the fact that the men prepared and served the dinner. The regular Thursday night Parish Night program of the First M. F.. church will be given over to the observance of Father and Son week in that church. Supper will be Berved at 6:30 o'clock and will be followe-i by devotional exercises and an appropriate program. Friday night is the time chosen by most of the churches for their observance of Father ' and Son week. On that night the following churches will hold meetings for this purpose: First English Lutheran church. First Chris
tian church. United Brethren churco,
Second Presbyterian church, St Paul's English Lutheran church and the Firsi
Presbyterian church. The Men's Brotherhood and Fishermen's club of the Grace M. E. church also will hold a
joint meeting at this time for the ob
servance. A banquet will be served in
the Sunday school room of the church
Friday night and on Sunday morning the pastor will deliver an appropriate
sermon. Banquet at 7
A banquet for Fathers and Sons will be held Friday evening at 7 o'clock at the First English Lutheran church.
An interesting program has been, pre pared to be followed at this time.
Aierie siaener, or Indianapolis, a well known speaker, will address fath
ers and sons at the First Christian church Friday night, The supper will be served by the women of the church
and special musical numbers will be given during the evening. The supper will be served at 6:30 o'clock. All boys of the church are Invited to attend

Blcuntsville Bank Robbed
Of $100; Insurance coven BLOTJNTSVILLE, Ind, Nov. 16.
Only 100 was stolen from the bank at Blouhtsville it was found by check-up
today after officials had discovered evidences of an attempted robbery. The robbers had been unable to open the safe. That they were profession
als and accustomed to the details of
successful robbery was shown bv their
use of an acetylene torch with which
they burned away the vault doors, and
their provision of waste paper bas
nets for carrying the money, and a
bucket of water for controlling fire
that might start. Both of the latter
objects were stolen from a schoolhouse which was broken into, before the bank was visited. The bank is a branch of the Citizens bank, of Newcastle. All loss Is covered by Insurance.
