in the Mt Moriah Baptist church un

art guild. All of the participants on the program did weU and contributed much to the success of the celebration. The Sallie Stewart guild wishes to

To Father And Son Banquet
Invitations have been Issued to the members of the First Presbyterian
Sunday school to attend the Father
and Son week meeting to be held at the church Wednesday evening. Sup
per will be served at 6:30 o'clock and an interesting "get together" program has been planned to follow. The invitation says, "If you have no son, and
cannot borrow one, come anyway and
be a boy with the rest of us.
FRED JONES INJURED
II RUNAWAY ACCIDENT
Fred Jones, farm hand, working on
a. farm about three miles northwest of Richmond, was sightly injured
Tuesday afternoon when a team of
mules which he was driving became
frightened it the passing of an interurban car, kicked themselves loose from the wagon and ran away, leaving Mr. Jones unconscious where he had
been thrown on the cement roadway
The mules ran into Centerville, where
they were caught
N. G. McKinley. of Richmond, who
happened to be passing, saw the run
away and brought the injured man Into Richmond for medical attention.
Mr. Jones did not recover consciousness until the party reached the city. He was given medical attention, a
slirfit cut over the right eye and
minor Injuries to the right arm and
shoulder being discovered, and be was
then taken hornet

ing. Coroner S. Edgar Bond and Dr.
L. F. Ross were also summoned. Was Public Officer.
As a member of the board of sinking
fund commissioner and later as a mem
ber of the Richmond city board of works, Mr. Price had rendered signal
service to the city. He waa a mem
ber of the Elks lodge, had been a trus-J
tee at one time, and was also a mem
ber of the local Moose lodge. He was
a member of the board of governors of
the Elks lodge.
Survivors are the widow, Mrs. Elva
Price, a sister. Mrs. Anna Medsker of
Richmond, and two brothers, Frank of
Richmond and Harry L. Price of Eaton
Friends may call Thursday afternoon
and evening. It is requested that flow era be omitted. Burial will be in Earl
ham cemetery. '
Members of the Elk lodge will meet
at the club house Thursday evening at
7:30 o'clock to proceed to the home of
Mr. Price to view the body. The fun
eral service will be conducted by the
lodge Friday afternoon.

ing Wednesday evening. Reports at the meeting Tuesday night showed that a large number of people are uniting with the Methodist church here.
