EATON, Ohio, Not. 15. In honor of the soldiers, sailors, marines and nurses of Preble county who served during

the World war, St. Clair post, Ameri-

. can Legion will place a bronze memorial tablet on the new concrete bridge that is under construction on West Main street. Permission to install the tablet has been granted by the county

commissioners. Installation of the tab

let will be attended by appropriate cer

emonies. It will be some time before

the new bridge Is completed.

The inscription on the memorial tab

let will read: "In memory of the sol

diers, sailors, marines and army nurses

of Preble county. who served the United States during the World war, April

l, ii7, rsov. 11, 1318.

Saturday in Eaton for an all-day and

evening conference in the Presbyter

These conferences are being con ducted in counties throughout OhlT

Hutton, 82 years old, died Monday night near New Paris, in the home of

disease was the cause of death. Mrs.

Hutton had lived In the vicinity of

New Paris many years. The daughter, and one son, Frank Danily, of

Flint, Mich., survive her.

Eaton, Ohio, Nov. 15. Burial of a

three-year-old daughter of Mr. and

Mrs. Leonard Shock, of Dayton, took

place here Tuesday afternoon in

Mound Hill cemetery, following the

child s death in Dayton, due to an

attack of diphtheria. Mr. and Mrs.

Shock removed to Dayton from Preble

county only recently.
