Mrs. Edward Wheeler Hall, in the first formal interview she has given since the im rder of her husband, the Kev. fcdward W. Hall, in New Brounswick. N. J., on September 14. denied that she knew anything about the killing, denied any jealousy toward Mrs. Mills, the choir singer who was also slain with the minister.-and entered a general negative to all innuendos that have accumulated against her since-the finding of the bodies. Mrs. Hall was crossexamined in the, library; of her home facing a semi-circle of twentyone newspaper men and women, and revealed nothing but sharp wits in the interview. She answered questions calmly and coldly, declaring her conscience is entirely clear anc that she nevei suspected her husband ol infidelity. A battery of stenographers was on band taking the questions ana answers in short relays and nurrying out to the kitchen wbere typewriters and a duplicating machine had been installed and where the interview tn short installments was transcribed from the notes of the stenographers and duplications made.
