WOMEN WILL CONTROL POLITICS, ASSERTION By CHARLES R. LYNCH CHICAGO. Nov. 3. Men need never fear political domination by women, Mrs. Winnifred Mason Huck, candidate for congressman at large from.

Illinois, to fill the unexpired term of

her father, the lato William E. Mason, declared here today after a strenuous campaign. "Politics is a man's game," she said.

"Women's minds are fundamentally different from those of men, and few

women have the necessary qualifications to enter politics.. "There is no doubt that women are in politics to stay, but the threatened formation of a woman's bloc to op- , pose men will never develop. "Women, however, have a distinct place in politics, and that Is to clean it up. "The manipulations of a man politician in search of votes are often ridiculous. Men seem to lose the bi? issue fn the minor one of how to get votes. "Women are more sincere. They have some definite goal to gain after thpv reach ennerress. The nomination

and election are only Incidental to the work afterward. "For instance, a prominent" man politician recently told, me that it would take $200,000 to properly campaign the state of Illinois. I have cov

ered practically every section "of the

state, and it hasn t cost me anywnere one-twentieth that amount." Mrs. Huck said she would never j make tho race again without some or- ; ganization back of her. "Possibly with the right kind of support I would continue in the game," 6he said.
