Jack-o-lanterns, boughs of brilliantlined autumn foliage, ehe&ves of corn fodder, black cats and flying witches have converted the ballroom and reception rooms of the Richmond Country club into a magnificent setting for the masquerade- dance Saturday evening which is the climax of the club's social events for October. Yellow candles, pumpkins, shaded lights, and great baskets of yellow chrysanthemums complete the decorations. - Music is to be furnished by the Jesse
Haiberstadt orchestra. The commit
tee in charge cf the affair is composed of Mrs. Walter G. Butler, chairman;
Mrs. E, H. Harris, Mrs. Clarence Gennet t and Mrs. L. G. Reynolds. Pre
ceding the dance dinner will be served.

of brilliant autumn foil age and pumpkins for the Halloween entertainment
given by the Serior Luther league for the entire congregation. The rooms were illuminated by the soft glow of lights shaded in orange and black. One hundred and fifty persons were present. There were fortiaie-tellers, fish ponds, and refreshments as added diversions and a varied program as the chief feature.
