O. L. Keller. Mgr. .
Ballard Sales Co. Richmond, Indiana My dear Mr. Keller: I have just arrived home from a trip into Michigan and want to take the earliest opportunity to thank you as best I can by telling you a little story called SERVICE with a big "S." I left here Monday the 23rd. driving a new Studebaker Big Six. When within three miles of Auburn, Ind., I met with an accident which caused me to be pulled into Auburn. Here was the situation No Hotel Garage could not do anything for me and there we were three ladies, (Wife, my Mother and her Sister and Myself). Having the utmost confidence in the Service at The Ballard Sales Co., I decided that my next best bet was to get your Service Station on the Phone my idea being at that time to have you get the car back to Richmond and myself and family to take a train arriving in Richmond about 3 A. M. Getting you on the Phone here's what happened: "Hello Keller" (Then my story to you). "Hello Iliff." It's now 4 o'clock. I have two men leaving here now for Auburn. Wait right there for them. They will fix you up and you can go on with your trip." f I waited men arrived 1 0 P. M. removed damaged part from car finishing some time in the early morning. The men left in their car for Richmond. ,. Myself and family left for Michigan having been delayed something like 1 0 hours most of this time because we were 1 1 0 miles away from your Service Station. x ' SOME SERVICE. To simply say "Thank you" sounds rather crude but that seems to have been the extent of the cost to me and surely makes one feel pretty well taken care of to say the least. Thanking youagain for this excellent service I am Your3 very truly, L. E. Iliff
