HEARING FOR ALLEGED BOGUS STOCK SELLER AT EATON THURSDAY
EAT OX, Ohio, Sept. 14. R. H. Brierley, alleged promoter of sales of fake oil stock in Preble county, was to be given a hearing here Thursday in the court of Squire L. T. Stephen. It is alleged Brierley and his father, A. Brierley, bilked a number of Preble county men out of at least $5,200 by the bogus stock route. The stock is said to have been issued in connection with an oil well drilling scheme, by an alleged mythical development company.
The drilling operations were to have
been stagedJn the vicinity of Ingomar in eastern Preble county. A derrick was erected, but that was as far as operations went. Then followed the disappearance of the promotors and
the awakening of the holders of stock

teen survivors from the 1.000 members of the 160th Indiana regiment of the Civil war were present at the sixty-
eighth annual reunion held here today. Officers elected were: President, Isaac Wood, Anderson; secretary, Josiah
Pennington, Indianapolis. Ezekiel Justice of Illinois, a member f the regiment, attended his first reunion today.
