TWO EATON WOMEN APPOINTED TO ATTEND W.R, C, CONVENTION EATON Ohio. Sept. 7. Two Eaton women have been appointed to places fn the Fourth district W. R. C. convention to be, held Oct. 26, in Dayton. Both are members of the Eaton W. R. C. Mrs. Julia Murray will fill the place of junior vice president in the convention, while Mrs. Alice Kline will fill the place of guard. Tie appointments were made by Mrs. Carrie Mitchell of Tippecanoe City, district W. R. C. president. Mrs. Murray, also has been selected as an alternate to the state encampment to be held Sept. 25 in Des Moines. Iowa. Total School Enrollment

BABY FOUND DROWNED IN
WATER TANK OF MILK HOUSE
KENOSHA, Wis., Sept, 7. Mm. William Walker mjssed her 20 months old baby son from the yard at the homestead, ten miles west of Kenosha, She
started a search and found the caild's body floating in the water tank in the milk house.
TWO ARE INJURED WHEN AUTO IS HIT
A sprained shoulder sustained by Msr. Ellen Rothert, and minor bruises sustained by her daughter, Mrs. Charles Paust. were the chief injuries
received by them in a crossing accident which occurred at New Paris late Wednesday. Charles Paust who was driving the car, escaped uninjured. The Paust family was returning from the Martin peach orchard. The tngine of the car stalled a? they were crossing the tracks. Before the machine could be started again, a freight train backing toward the crossing struck the car, throwing it over on Mrs. Paust and Mrs. Robert, who had just left the machine. The two women were taken to Reid Memorial hospital where they wera imported to be recovering. Thursday. Paust lives at 216 South Eleventh rtreet. He is a Pennsylvania employe. The car was completely demolished, the motor being completely removed Irora the frame.

PARK FUND PLACED IN GENERAL ACCOUNT Elimination of one fund of the series named in the controller's report, was noted in the statement ' of City Controller Webster Parry, for the month of August, recently made public. The report shows that the park fund, which had been carried Independent of other funds, is now incorporated in the general fund. The action was taken in accordance with the recommendation of the state board of accounts.
The municipal light plant general fund shows a balance of $67,709.31, according to the report. Other balances
are: Special fund. $18,339.33; general sinking fund, $14,777.27; street improvement fund, $5,901.54; light plant sinking fund, $31,269.76. Bonds issued by the city to the amount of $10,209 were paid off during the past mouth.
