Among the most notable of the social functions of the late summer season was the very charming luncheonbridge party given today at the Country dub by Miss Nellie Morrow. A lovely color scheme of lavender and

pink was carried out with large baskets containing profusions of orchids, pink rosebuds, budlia, asters and gladioli, which were artistically arranged about the rooms, and in dainty pink and lavender tinted Burma lilies and unique hand-painted :place cards decorating each table: An elaborate luncheon was served at I-o'clock at several small tables, covers being laid
