Ohio, to attend the tourney and to have luncheon at the " club on that day. Although the match is the feature of the day for Friday, and the Miami players will be guests of the club for luncheon, the event is not exclusively for the members of the local golf team represented in the tourney, but all members of the club are requested to be, present in order to make the affair a success. Those who expect to have luncheon at the club on that day are asked to make
their reservations by Thursday noon. For the pleasure of Miss Mary Lahrman, a bride-elect of the month, Miss Helen Eggemeyer was hostess for a lovely linen shower Wednesday afternoon at her home on East Main street. Brown-eyed susan, cosmos, golden glow' and other beautiful garden flowers were attractively , arranged about the rooms, where auction bridge was played during the afternoon. Miss Lahrman received many beautiful linen pieces. In the late afternoon a daintv lunch was served to the guests.
