W. Durbin, chairman of the old executive committee, was re-elected to head the new executive committee and T. R. Black, secretary to Atlee Pomerene, was chosen executive secretary. . Resolutions adopted by the central committee call for the appointment

of one woman by each central committeeman, to constitute a woman's central committee, which, in turn, will appoint an executive committee to cooperate with the men's executive organization. The party platform will be polished up by the time the convention convenes and will be ready to be submitted by the platform committee early In the afternoon. The Republican convention opens at 4 o'clock. This morning the Republican state central committee met to ar point an executive chairman or campaign onanager, an executive secretary and a small campaign committee. This
