Awards to be made on best litter of four pigs farrowed after March 1, 1922 and also must be farrowed the property of the exhibitor. 1st $40.00, 2nd $35.00, 3rd $30.00. 4th $25.00, 5th $20.00, 6th $15.00, 7th $12.00, 8th 10.00, 9th, $8.00, 10th $5.00 and $5.00 on each other litter. PIG CLUB SHOW Wayne County Boys and Girls Pig Club, J. L. Dolan. superintendent. It is not necessary to enter these pigs for this class but exhibitors must get tags from secretary on arrival. Pens free. Object: It is the object of this pig club work to interest the boys and girls of the county in better hogs and better methods of feeding, to interest them more in the affairs of the farm and if possible, to create a love for the country life. Breed represented are Big Type Poland China, Spotted Poland China, Duroc Jersey and Chester Whites. 1st prize $15, 2nd $10, 3rd $7.50 and $5 on each other pig in the class. Best record book, 1st prize $5, 2nd $3, 3rd $2 and $1 on all others. In addition to the above prizes, the first prize winner in each of the four breeds will be granted a free trip to the Purdue university Round-Up in May, 1923.
