MURRAY Eileen Percy, the Fox star, would like to make another trip to Ireland and see her native land under the

changed conditions due to recent upheavals, according to a report from Hollywood, Cal. In preparing for her latest picture, "Little Miss Hawkshaw", Miss Percy had to con

sult various volumes on the Irish people, their customs and period cos

tuming. "I would not care bo much to visit the large cities," Miss Percy said, "as the little villages, where the

backbone of the people is really form

ed; the small thatch-roofed houses of the peasants the kind that Power O'Malley has painted and the simple life these shelter. Ireland is a grand country. It has been said there is no sky so blue and no eyes so blue as Ireland's, and that's the way I feel about it. You know I spent some years there when I was a small girl." Miss Percy was born in Belfast in 1902, and her pretty mouth and laughing eyes are proof of her origin. She left Belfast for Brooklyn, N. Y.. when

she was only one year old, but re

turned to Belfast at the age of three

and remained at St. Malachi's convent until her ninth year. Then she returned to America. Her father owned

some land in Ireland, and an uncle is an Irish member of Parliament.

The sprightly Eileen and "Little Miss Hawkshaw" is playing at the Murray theatre. Her leading man is Francis Feeney. The story and direction are by Carl Harbaugh. who has earned an enviable reputation in both fields of activity.

True to their reputation, the Richmond vaudeville fans receive The Singing Three as the pauper covets his inheritance filled with abounding joy. The enappy syncopated tunes by the trio brings rounds of applause, and the

air of general satisfaction prevails. While both the Angel and Adelon, and the Cello Duo acts are but satel-

Prohibition Officers Omer Manlove and Walker France, with Officers Cousins and Seymore of the police department, conducted the search of the residence in Cambridge City. Three quarts of whisky, 23 dozen bottles of beer and eight gallons of wine were found by the officers, they said. The beer was found concealed underneath the back porch, in the floor of which a trap door had been placed. The whisky was found in the upper floor and the wine in the cellar. Because of the hysterical condition of Mrs. Bochman, it became necessary to summon Dr. A. R. Little, the family physician. Later Dr. Little signed the $1,000 bond on which Bochman was released.

Delay Search. 1 An attempt to delay the search, made by Mrs. Bochman, when she!

summoned Attorney Lon Feemster, was defeated after the officers had argued with him. The officers say they will file charges against him in the federal court at Indianapolis. Efforts to obstruct an officer in the performance of his duty, is the charge which will be filed against Feemster, according to statements made in police station Friday. MURRETTE "Nobody," in which Jewel Carman is appearing at the Murrette theatre, presents an interesting problem and one which many would hesitate to answer unequivocally. It Is this:

And, further, should that person be punished for it? Very likely you yourself will not be willing to give an immediate answer after you have witnessed this remarkable Roland West-First National attraction.
