One of the notable events of the week will be the annual joint picnic of the employes of the Richmond and Indianapolis branches of the Indianapolis Glove company, to be held at Broad Ripple park, Indianapolis, Friday, June 23. Three special cars for employes of the Richmond branch, will leave Richmond at 6 o'clock in the morning for Indianapolis. Fea

tures (! the day's entertainment will be athletic contests and games for which a silver trophy will be offered to the factory scoring the most points. Swimming, races, tugs of war, baseball, and other games will be held in the morning. Special attractions, showing some amateur vaudeville presentations, will be given in the afternoon. All regular amusements of the park will be open to employes during the day and evening at half price. In the evening Kioda Barber's famous orchestra will furnish the music for dancing.
