CHICAGO TAKES LAST GAME FROM REDLEGS; PITCHERS TAKEN OUT

CINCINNATI. May 29. Chicago took the final game of the series from th Reda Sunday, after Luque and Alexander both had been knocked out of the box. The final score was 8 to 7. Luque held his own with Alexander during the first three rounds, the Cubs

only getting one hit off him, in that time. The fourth spelled Luque's down-fall, however, and he was sent to the showers following successive hits. Including one by Alexander. Krug opened the fatal fourth" for Chicago with a double to right. Grimes lined to Harper, who muffed the ball. Flack singled to right, scoring Krug. Barber bunted toward third, and LuQue took the play, but when he started to throw to third for a force-play, Pinelll was near by looking at him, instead of being at his post. The bases

were full with no outs. Terry improved the occasion by garnering a single to center, scoring two runs. OTarrell hit a long fly to left and was good for two bases. The Reds go on a long road trip starting Monday. The score: Cincinnati. AB R IB PO A E

ELDORADO LOSES TO MILLER-KEMPERS

Miller-Kemper baseballers defeated Eldorado Sunday afternoon on the new diamond at the corner of West Fifth and School streets, by the score of 12 to 6. The Eldorado batters were nearly helpless during the first half of the game, trying to hit the slants of Rogers, the M.-K. pitcher. Rogers fanned the first six men to face him in the first two innings. He is a southpaw and is hard to hit. Juday and Worley carried the hurling duties for the Eldorado team, but they were touched frequently for hits which meant runs for the fast-going Miller-Kempers. The local Miller-Kempers will furnish thp baseball attraction for Richmond Tuesday at Exhibition park, with the Boston ball club. The game will be called at 3 o'clock. Shoup, o? Dayton, the M.-K. pitcher, will be on the mound and Meredith, the crack catcher, will be on the receiving end of the slants.
