Everyday Ad-Ventures When you reach into your pocket for your purse to check up exactly how much money you 6pent on the shopping trip you've just finished, but when your hand gets there, your pocket 13 bare and you realize that your purse is gone And at first you think, of course, that your pocket's been picked and that it's foolish even to think about getting your money back, and you say a sad mental farewell to the eleven or twelve dollars that you know were left In your purse But when you tell your hard-luck story to your husband that evening, he says that it's foolish to be so sure your purse has been stolen and to try to think where you could have dropped it and then he says "I have it! We'll put an ad In the Palladium's Lost and Found column right away!" And That Changes Everything! Because it turns out that your husband's idea was one of the best he ever had and within a day after your ad appeared, you have a call from the woman who found your money In one of the department stores and was watching the Palladium until she could find out who lost it.
