He was in an upstairs room at the time, getting ready to go to school. It is presumed he picked up the rifle by the barrel to remove it while searching for some article and the hammer struck some object and discharged the shell in the gun. :, Reappointments Announced - Reappointment of O. A. Gale and William Hambidge, both of Eaton, to constitute - the jury commission of Preble county for another year was announced Tuesday by Judge A. C. Risinger of common pleas court. The commission was instructed to meet May 29 and select 150 names and deposit them in the jury wheel in common pleas court. Hambidge is the Democratic member of the commission and Gale is the Republican member. . J Plan Employment Bureau Establisment of some sort of employment bureau in Eaton is planned by the Chamber of Commerce. Dr. W. H. Bucke, O. A. Gale and Harry Flory are a committee named by the Chamber to investigate and report upon feasibility of the plans. Is Granted Divorce. Gross, neglect and extreme cruelty were grounds upon which Cora Barnes was granted a divorce from Elza C. Barnes, and awarded custody of their child. Marvin, 10 years old. Barnes is to pay $3 a week toward support of the child. Mrs. Barnes averred her husband aspired to a place as a prize fighter, then a detective, and then a writer of scenarios for motion pictures.. He wasted his time on all of them and earned no money, she averred, and after liis first ring engagement he gave up the idea of priie fighting. Judge A. C. Risinger granted the decree of divorce. The couple married in March, 1919, in Lynn, Ind. 'Judgment Awarded. Judgment for $792 on a mortgage note was awarded in common pleas court to Allen Andrews, lawyer, of Hamilton, against Ada and Samuel H. Keller and Rea Furrey. Foreclosure Sought. Foreclousre of mortgage securing a note for $920 is sought in an action brought by Gertrude Hawley against James Copeland and John Day, in common pleas court. - Orders Judgment Vacation. Judge A. C. Risinger ordered vacation of a judgment obtained in common pleas court by M. H. Markey against L. R. HeaVenridge, and granted the defendant leave to file an answer forthwith. Markey had obtained a judgment for $1,529.43 on a cognovit note, on May 6. The note was given in payment for a farm tractor. In his nnswer Heavenridge alleges the trac-
