GRAIN ritlCES (Markets by E. F. Leland & Company, 212 Union National Bank " Building) CHICAGO, May 20. Wheat Barring a little strength in wheat after opening market was weak all day, with May being especially weak. The best support was from a local elevator Interest which was also the best buyer yesterday but all rallies seemed to bind wheat for sale. Cash markets 4c lower at Kansas City and 2 cents lower here. Minneapolis reported lower premiums. Receipts large and Liverpool closed lower. Milling demand continues light. Corn A little firmness early was followed by a reaction from the high point (from which the market did not recover. No material pressure but buying was not important. Corn planting is practically finished in the dry section of the belt. Forecast for unsettled weather over the week-end. Oats followed other grains being firm early and weak in sympathy with the recession in wheat. The range of prices were narrow and closed at a fractional recovery from the low. Cash unchanged.
