FRANK WILLIAMS TO b HEAD POLAND CHINA BREEDERS OF COUNTY (Special to Th Palladium) CENTERVILLE, Ind., April 22.

Election of officers for the coming year and consideration of pig club activities were the principal business of the Wayne County Poland China Breeders' association at its special meeting Friday night in the Centerville town hall. Frank Williams, of Williamsburg, was elected president and Luther Reynolds, of Fountain City, was made treasurer for the coming year. Walter Sanborn, of Centerville, was chosen secretary and Cal. Davis, of near Pershing, was named vice-president. New members of the executive committee are Ernest Watt, of Webster; Vint Wilson, Green's Fork; and Jerry Myers, Hagerstown. . A report of the joint pie club meet ing of the Wayne County Swine Breed- j ers' association was presented by Ernest Watt. Assignment of pigs by lottery from Centerville on June 1 at a uniform price of 515, requirement that all club pigs be exhibited at the end of the season, and that at least four pigs of each litter in the sow and litter club be exhibited, were the recom- . mendations of the joint committee. i' Favor Advertisement Regular publication of an advertise- , ment of Wayne county breeders' herds in some farmers' magazine was discussed and approved, but action was .left to the new officers. Refreshments consisting of pie, hot coffee and sandwiches were provided by Walter Sanborn. Hearty appreciation of the food was expressed and was proved by those present. An additional hour after the adjournment "was spent in Informal discussion and entertainment, by members. Among the remarkable records cited was Wood Eliason's report of three sows which had farrowed 46 pig3, capped . by Walter Fulghum's story of 16 ewe3 which had 35 lambs. The meeting broke up after Porter Pike had told of a ewe with quadruplets, all of which were saved and raised. Suburban PHILOMATH, Ind Mr. and Mrs. J. T.
