In Memoriam BERRY Margaret Ellen Conner Berry was born in Centervllle, Indiana, Nov. 11th, 1830. She was the daughter of Dr. David and Martha L. Sackett, who came from Pennsylvania to Wayne county in 1812. She was the last survivor of a family of 12 children. On Dec. 31, 1846, she was married-to Calvin Conner of Centerville. To this union were born six children, all of whom are living. Calvin Conner died in 1872 at Gal veston, Indiana, and in 1874 she was again united in marriage to Mr. John Berry of Case county, Indiana. In 1879 she was again left a widow and returned to Galveston, when she made her home with her children. In 1888 she, with her family removed to Richmond, Wayne county, where she resided until her death. Mrs. Berry was a member of the Baptist church for 45 years, and was ever faithful to her church duties until prevented by the infirmities of age. Mrs. Berry possessed a remarkably sweet and amiable disposition. It mattered not how heavy the burden lay on her heart It never showed on the surface. She always seemed the same pleasant appable self. During her earlier life she was a. woman of a bright, active mind. She was a great reader and retained what she read. It was a pleasure to converse with her. As a friend she was kind and true. As a neighbor she was ever ready to lend a helping hand in every time of need. And we remember her with regrets at her taking. But like a sheaf ready for the reapers. She has been gathered into the Garner of her Lord. FRANK CONNER. LILLIAN FOSTER.
