EATON, Ohio, April 14. One hundred and fifty-two pupils in the schools of Preble county, outside of Eaton, are entered In the fifth annual county school spelling and arithmetic contests, which will occur, Saturday in tamden. It is expected , the contest will be completed by noon, at which time the Camden Parent-Teacher Community club will serve dinner, this to be preceded by community singing. . Women and girls will be pitted against men and boys in an oral spelling contest in the afternoon. County School Superintendent W. S. Fogarty will award medals to the winners in the several departments of the contest. The affair will conclude with a program of entertainment by the Camden schools. Annual Dinner Saturday The annual James Bruce memorial dinner will be served Saturday In the county children's home and arrangements have been made to entertain upward of 100 guests, Including the children in the institution, for . whom the dinner Is given, trustees of the home, county officials, and others. Superintendent O. P. Klmmel amTMrs. Kimmel. matron, will have charge of the affair. James Bruce, of Eaton, descendant of the founder of Eaton, left, by will, a sum of money to the children's homo, the Income from which was to be used in preparing a special dinner for the inmates of the home on his birthday anniversary each year, on April 15. Bruce was an aged bachelor. Ha died a number of years ago,

Another suit was that of Cecile Younger against Ermil Younger, she having sought alimony and custody of child, in addition to divorce. In this case it also was represented the couple 1 had become reconciled. . The case was dismissed for want of prosecution. Mary E. Studebaker has sued Wilbert Studebaker for divorce and alimony. They adjusted their differences and the case was dismissed. The case had been pending since November, 1919. Settled Before Trial Just before trial of the case was to begin and after a jury had reported for duty, a suit entered by E. J. Harrison against Harry and Verise Bittle and I. C. Albert was compromised, settled and dismissed from common pleas court. Harrison sued to recover $3,597, alleged to be due on a note. Preble Marriage License Preble county marriage licenses: Charles J. Keenan, 43 years old, and IMla S. Leonard, 43 years old, both of West Alexandria.
