The Bingham act was introduced on

the first day of the" session in order

to permit Incorporation In the state of the Burley Tobacco Growers' Ccoprativa association, which has since pot into active operation and which

has marketed half of the 1921 crop without resort to the old method of auctioning the crop. It was signed by

Governor Morrow immediately after

Under this law 65,000 Kentucky

fanners have organized to pool this one type of tobacco and the western Kentucky farmers are now organizing to sell other types. Drastic Law. The law 13 so drastic that anyone who tries to get a farmer to break his contract, which runs five years, 3d made liable to prosecution for a misdemeanor, as well as being financially liable. Formation of two new normal schools to aid in training teachers tor the schools of the state also was provided by the assembly. LATIN MAY AGAIN BE LIVING TONGUE

(By Associated Press) BLOOMINGTON, Ind., March 28. Latin may again become a living language and the international language for scholars, if the suggestion of a committee of the American Philoegicl association is heeded, according to Prof. James Dunlap of the Latin department of Indiana university. Because Esperanto, the artificial language that was composed of words common to all languages, has failed to provide mean3 of expression on

, scholarly subjects in an understanding manner, some new means is neces

sary for discourse along intellectual lines, says Prof. Dunlap. The Latin language is the only means that will satisfy, he says, because it alone sat

isfies the intellectual and esthetic demands of the educated people of all lands. Furthermore, Latin has been made immortal by use in the past, and

the fact that most of the extensively used languages of Europe are based

MURRAY VAUDEVILLE There is a "plus" appearance to the

headlining act at the Murray theatre

this first half of the week.

The offering opens upon an elabor

ate setting with five young men play

ing musical instruments. A piano, two violins, a 'cello and a bass viol

are made to harmonize into soft, ear-

pleasing melody. To this accompani

ment come two girls singing light lifting numbers. Any. one loving saucy activeness backed by sweet soothing syncopation will be satisfied with this

performance.

"Speaker Lewis," a humorist with the topics and events of the day well balanced at the end of his tongue, scores many approving points in his brief monologue about the people, the

public, and former and present government officials, as well as local

"wise cracks."

Casson and Klem are two boys who aim to entertain. One presides at the

piano, the other sings several songs

found favor Monday afternoon.

Similar, if not identical to an act

seen here and much appreciated some months ago, is the act by Young and

irancis. Presenting "From Reveille

to Taps," this military duo have skill

ful and clever terpsichorean bits to exhibit. It leads the bill with a die-

nity not often to be found.-

musical attractions nowadays. The attraction will be presented here with a company and production equal to that seen during its long run in New York, where it established the greatest record ever attained by a muiscal attraction. Wintz. New innovations consist of costumes that will make all the ladles envious, scenery that dazzles, songs you will remember.

MURRETTE Although he is only six years of

age, little Jackie Coogan knows how to play checkers, and can give many pointers on the game to persons much

older than he is.

If you doubt that, go to see him In

"My Boy," his latest Associated First National release, which is now being

shown at the Murfette theatre, where it began a run of four days on Sunday.

Jackie really plays the game: that

will be readily admitted, for no director could coach him so thoroughly that

ne could make the moves he does if he didn't know the game from A to Z.

And ask Claude Dillingwater. who

plays the part of the old sea captain in the picture, if Jackie doesn't know

the game. "He's the boy checker wonder," Is the actor's tribute to Jackie.

ten? The reason 13 plain the article did not fulfill the promises of the manufacturer. This applies more particularly to a medicine. A medicinal preparation that has real curative value almost sells itself, as like an endless chain system the remedy is recommended by those who have been benefited, to those who are. ia need of it. A prominent druggist says "Take for example Dr. Kilmer's SwampRoot, a preparation I have sold for many years and never hesitate to recommend, for in almost every case it

shows excellent results, as many of my customers testify. No other kidney remedy has so large a sale." According to sworn statements and verified testimony of thousands who have used the preparation, the success of Dr. Kilmer's Swamp-Root is due to the fact, so many people claim, that it fulfills almost every wish in overcoming kidney, liver and bladder ailments, corrects urinary troubles and neutralizes the uric acid which causes rheumatism. You may receive a sample bottle of Swamp-Root by Parcel Post. Address Dr. Kilmer & Co., Binghamton, N. Y., and enclose ten cents; also mention thi3 paper. Advise her of the danger which comes from standing around with cold or wet feet, from lifting heavy articles, or overworking. Do not let her overstudy. If she complains of headache, pains in back or lower limbs, or if you notice a 6lowness of thought, nervousness or irritability on the part of your daughter, give her careful attention. Lydia E. Pinkham's Vegetable Compound is an excellent medicine for your daughter to take, as it is especially adopted to relieve just such symptoms.
