nothing is found to be wrong with the car, the dealer may act as he wishes in regard to It "Dealers should organize and refuse to buy any suspicious cars. Although they would lose out on several sales.
it would in time, save them money and j at the same time cut down the thief,! as he will not steal the cars if he has no market for them." j Must Be Firm I Inspector Gregor told -of an incident In Dayton, when a millionaire tourist bad put his car in a garage for a short time. "The car was inspected by one of the department men and found to be one which had had its numbers changed. I informed the tourist that he could not continue In the machine until a thorough examination had been made. He became angry but the inspection was made and references looked up. The car was found to be one which had been stolen and sold to the millionaire. The police depart-
Qiient must be firm with everyone and "m,ust work with diligence or, its power
will dwindle down to a low ebb. Police Chief Eversman, in a short
talk, gave a favored adoption of a system similar to that of the Dayton department. He also urged co-operation with the dealers of the association. Point Out Duties Clessle Kendall, Roy Hodge and Isaac F. Burns, members of the police department, also pointed out the work w hich could be done by the dealer and the police department in ending car stealing. Roy Hodge said the police department should be thoroughly equipped
- for the work to be done and that the
public should see that the department has the necessary outfits for the work.

continuous headaches and backaches, dulled vision and lack of vigor and vitality. Could do no work for the last five years; in fact, could hardly walk. The doctors here could do nothing for me and I have tried every kind of medicine without avail. Last June Dr. Simpson advised me to start the DRUESEN-KRAFT treatment, and I have blessed him ever since. There was a 'decided improvement the second week, as I could walk stairs unassisted. FOR more than 30 years the Standard Oil Company (Indiana) has been a big refiner of kerosene oil. During all this time there has been a steady improvement in the quality of its product. This improvement has been more marked in the past ten or fifteen years during which time the Standard Oil Company (Indiana) has developed methods of manufac- ' turing to eliminate the danger of lamp explosions. While the kerosene has been improved the devices for using it have remained unchanged. Recognizing the fact that the users of Perfection Kerosene were unable to , get a maximum service from the oil they burned, and realizing that the failure was due not to the oil but to the devices, the Standard Oil Company (Indiana) set its experts to work to find a better burner and a more efficient chimney. These men, working with the manu-" facturers of burners and chimneys, have succeeded in developing devices which increased largely the efficiency of the oil. - The Standard Oil Company (Indiana) does not sell lamps. But it believes -that the users of lamps should be in- , formed as to how to get the best -results from the kerosene they use. To accomplish this result this Company is distributing sixty thousand of the new burners and chimneys to : dealers handling kerosene that they may demonstrate to their patrons how to get the most light from Perfection Kerosene by using appliances correctly designed. The Standard Oil Company (Indiana) , has arranged with leading chimney manufacturers to stamp - chimneys ' made in accordance 'with the design '
