TJ. members Is-centered in the county institute which - will.' be held in the Methodist church at Economy Thursday and Friday, March 30 and 31. Mrs. Elizabeth T. Stanley, state president of the organization, will be the leader, and is to be one of the principal speakers. The program is one of tho most interesting ever planned for the annual county gathering. Five sessions are to be held, the first opening at 10:45 o'clock Thursday morning. An afternoon and evening session will be held that day and on Friday a morning and afternoon
meeting. Local presidents or the various unions , urge a large attendance of their members. Many persons, it is reported, will go to Economy to attend part of the institute. The program has been announced as follows: Thursday, March 30. Meeting opens at 10:45 a. m. with devotional by Mrs. Emma Hiatt, president of, the Economy union. Organization of institute. every important civic association, Rotary and Kiwanls clubs in the middle west. Music and short speeches will feature the remainder of the program for the evening.

A criminal term of the district court will be called within a few weeks, it is stated, to try Got. J. B. A. Robertson of Oklahoma and Fred G. Dennis, former state banking- commissioner, and several prominent business and financial men of Okmulgee on charges growing- out of the
Okmulgee bank scandal. The governor" and Dennis are under indictment charged with accepting a bribe to allow the Guaranty State bank to operate after it was in an alleged insolvent condition. The other men 1 were active officers in the Guaranty bank and a bank which later purchased the Guaranty.
