About 350 people attended and greatly enjoyed the community basket supper at the school gymnasium Monday evening, given in honor of the boys' basketball team which won the county

auditorium. Sevjeral numbers were played by the school orchestra and Miss Lou Reva Penland sang two beautiful solos, and recitations were given by Miss Mildred Jones and Miss Helen Huffman. At eight o'clock the crowd was led to the gymnasium, which was beautifully decorated, In the high school colors, blask and gold, and cut flowers which were present by Florist Gist of Richmond After the crowd was all placed at Ae tables the members of the team wre ushered in by Superintendent C. R Coblentz and Principal R. H. Brandm amid cheers and school yells. A special table reserved for the team. A huge dice bearing eight candles formed a centerpiece. Miss
