The winners were always rushed for the edge, however. O'Metz, the Richmond goal tender, was bombarded to a finish in Wednes- j day night's game, he receiving credit for 38 stops. Muncie's goal tend, Thornburg, side-tracked 37 shots of the Richmond team. Fry started the scoring of the game . by connecting from the side of the floor past Thornburg. Fahrner, of Muncie, worked hard to start a winning pace for his team, but the Magic City crew had hard luck in hitting the cage. The two teams meet on. the Coliseum floor Friday night and a highrins exhihitlon is expected. Tickets for this game are now on sale. Reserved seats sell at 50 cents and general admission 30 cents. Colored Ministers Meet For Church. Discussion Pastors of the city colored churches held a meeting Tuesday evening at Mt. Moriab Baptist church, to discuss several issues of importance to the civic as well as the spiritual uplift of the churches. Next Sunday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock, a big union service will be held at the "Wesleyan church at which time the object of the new organization and the monthly union meetings will be explained to the churches and the public at large. The sermon will be by Rev. Perry, pastor of Mt. Moriah Baptist church. Short talks will be made by pastors. Music will be furnished by the Bethel A. H. E. choir. A. bird house contest must be in the "Y Wednesday night, March 22, at 8:30 o'clock, according to an announcement given out by Perry Wilson, boys work secretary of the association. Many of the houses have been turned in to Mr. Wilson but many are not finished yet. The boys who are making houses and have not finished them are requested to get busy. After the contest has closed and the winners picked, the houses will be on display in the lobby of the "Y" for the general public. Summer Gardening Class Of "Y" Getting Quota The Y. M. C. A. summer gardening class is rapidly nearing its quota and it is expected to be completed within the next few days. Perry Wilson, of the boys' department of the association, stated that the quota this- year will be 40 boys and as soon as this many boys have signed for the gardening work, the list will be closed. At present there are 30 boys signed for the work. May Close Obenchain Jury Arguments Tonight (By Associated Press) LOS ANGELES, March 16 Tonight may see the close of the arguments to the jury in the trial of Mrs. Madalynne Obenchain for the murder of her sweetheart, J. Belton Kennedy, but early today it was regarded as probable the jurors would not be in structed and retire for deliberations before tomorrow. Jud R. Rush, senior defense counsel. who began the closing arguments for the acquittal of Mr3. Obenchain yes terday, was expected to conclude this morning, with Asa Keyes, deputy dis trict attorney, then making the final arguments for the prosecution.
