Bethard, chairman; Mrs. Fred J. Oirty. Mrs. Walter I Dalbey. Mrs. Leslie Hart, and Mrs. Everett Engelbert. Reservations may be made with any member of the ticket committee or with Mrs. V. W. Gaar. Tickets are 50 cents. The public is invited Froceeds from the party are to go toward a fund of $75 with which the D. A. R. is erecting a concrete and steel flagstaff-.-at the new David W, Dennis high school. Proceeds are also to be used for the Tomasse school lor mountaineers in Tennessee, which is .supported by the D. A. birthday dinner given in honor of Miss Anna Bostick at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Bateman. Linden Edgerton of Indianapolis spent Sunday with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. O. Edgerton, in Richmond. The Ladies' auxiliary of the Sons of Veterans will meet Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock in the post rooms at the court house. Business of importance w ill be transacted. The Ben Hur degree team will meet Monday evening at 7:30 o'clock in the club rooms for drill practice.

church Monday evening at their home, 217 -Pearl street. The Show-me club meets with Mrs. Alfred Fehlman, of Richmond avenue Tuesday afternoon. A card party will be given at the Moose home Tuesday afternoon at 2:15 o'clock. A dance will be given at; the factory of the Indianapolis Glove company Tuesday evening. Miller's orchestra will play. There will be tables of progressive euchre for persons not dancing. The public is invited. The Webster M. E. Aid Society will meet with Mrs. Howard Harris at 1:30 o'clock Wednesday afternoon, Jan. 23. Members of the staff of Evelyn Rebekah lodge. No. 322, are requested to meet at Z o'clock Tuesday evening for rehearsal.
The Current Events club will hold no
meeting this week. The next meeting will be Jan. 31, with Mrs. Jesse Orr.. The Dorcas Society of Earlham Heights church will meet with Mrs.

Pickett, Miss June Hall, Earl Pickett and Marvin Pickett. . Little Miss Evelyn Gardner, celebrating her fourth birthday, entertained a party of friends informally Sat urday afternoon at her home, 16 North Nineteenth street. Games were played during the afternoon, after which luncheon was served. Table appointments were pink and white. The centerpiece was a white2 birthday cake illuminated with pink candles. Favors to each guest were pink baskets of candies. W. class of the New Westville Sunday school will hold its monthly business meeting Friday evening at the church. Contests and a social time will follow the business session. Members of the class and their families are invited. Mr Agnes Watts and Mrs. Elsie Hicks will be hostesses for the evening. The present enrollment of the
