LOS AXGELE3. Cal.. Jan. 21 Now that Charlie Chaplin is entirely free of his former matrimonial alliance, rumors concerning the identity of the next Mrs. Chaplin are rife. The interlocutory decree parting Chaplin and Mildred Harris baa become final.

Charlie Chaplin is free to wed anyone who will have him, and the number is legion. " - ' Bets on Miss Windsor In Hollywood it is agreed that the next Mrs. Chaplin will not be May Collins, actress. The film colony lays its bets on Claire Windsor, former Seattle society girl, who has achieved success in the films. Last year Miss Windsor left her home in Seattle and look up residence near the Hollywood cinema lots. Day after day she solicited work in the studios, driving from one casting director to another in her limousine. Finally she was given a part by Lois Weber, and subsequently was featured 1n the woman producer's productions. She has been much in the company of Chaplin. Nothing to Sheridan Rumor The movie folk do not believe that Chaplin will marry Mrs. Claire Sheridan. British sculptor and author. Recently Mrs. Sheridan and her son left Los Angeles after making a bust of the famous comedian. It was rumored at that time that she might be the next occupant of Chaplin's home. Returning to New York Mrs. Sheridan was asked Jf the rumor was founded on fact. She smiled and replied: "Man proposes; woman disposes."
