Attorney John Maher, for the defense, was granted permission by the court to file an amended answer, in which will be set out the fact that Treasurer Brown already has been placed on trial and acquitted on one of the indictments. Attorney Kyle made the opening argument for the state and was followed by Attorneys Maher and Murphy, for the defense. The closine argument was made by Prosecutor Hoel. Judge Ferneding stated that.
