their sons. Whitney McGutre and Scott MeGuire, entertained with a dance and supper at the Richmond Country club Tuesday evening;. The function -sra3 one of themost beautiful of th holl- , day season and was attended by over 150 persons among whom were a large number of out-of-town guests and members of th younger set who are home from school for the holidays. The ball room and other first floor rooms of the clubhouse were illuminated by lights softly shaded In red and Kieen. Ropes of smilax radiated from the light domes to the corners of the rooms and were festooned In entranceways. Chains of the smilax were twined down the staircase. The fireplace in the ballroom was banked with evergreen and tall baskets of flowers studded with colored lights. The

Radford is president, will have an oyster supper at the home of one of the members, Everett Hunt, this evening. Horse Trader Adjudged Not Guilty By Mayor Sherman Hart, horse dealer, was adjudged not guilty by Mayor Zimmerman Wednesday morning. Hart had
been arraigned In police court Tuesday morning, charged with misrepre
sentation in the sal of a horse to Robert Baker. "Much ado about nothing" might well have been the title of the drama enacted in police court Tuesday. The hearing of the case consumed about one hour and the time of about 10 men. Baker had three witnesses for his side and Hart had one, in addition to himself.
