REORGANIZE PREBLE BOARD OF HEALTH; PICK NEW MEMBERS EATON. O.. Dec. 19. Preble county's health board has been re-created. The new board was selected here Saturday afternoon in a meeting of the. county advisory board to the health board. The advisory board reorgan-l Ued. after which the members or me health board were selected. Members of the new health board and the term of service alloted to; each, are: Dr. J. H. Fritz, West Alex-1 undrla, five-year term; Dr. G. W.j Brown, Lewlsburg, four years; Mayor Frank G. Shuey. Camden, three years; Dr. U J. Blackford. Eldorado, two years; Edward Young. New Paris, one year. It is thought all those named n 111 accept the appointments. The board will meet Wednesday afternoon in Eaton for organization. The advisory, board reorganized by electing Mayor Harry L. Risinger. of Eaton, president and Floyd Ashworth, Eaton, secretary. President Risinger presided at the meeting that followed. To Name Commissioner. When the health board organizes Wednesday, it Is expected It will name a county health commissioner and county health nurse. Dr. George W. ! Homsher, of Camden, has been health! commissioner the past year. The health board did not function fully the past year, owing to lack of funds. The budget for the year called for something like $6,000, while less than $1,000 was available. The county Red Cross chapter maintained a county health nurse the past year. The next meeting of the advisory board will take place the first Monday in next May. Its membership embraces the mayors of the towns and the presidents of the boards of trustees of the townships in the county. . Heads Medical Society. Dr. S. P, Carter, of West Manchester, has been re-elected president of the Preble County Medical society for the coming year. Dr. 1J. Z. Silver, of Eaton was re-elected secretary aad treasurer.
