CAMBRIDGE AWAITS JUVENILE SINGING: PROGRAM IS SECRET
Is Your Child All Risht?
CAMBRIDGE CITY, Ind.. Dec. 15. Interest today in the Eulgin revival pervices centers around the program the children of the juvenile chorus will give tonight.

Vtriet secret, but enough is known and
One thing In the world about which you cannot know too much Is your child's health. If the child is underweight for its inches and years, it may be indicative of serious trouble. It may be a Pign of tuberculosis. If this is known and recognized in time the child's life can be saved.
Pulmonary tuberculosis in children,
suspected to make every citizen
whether a parent of one of the choristers or not, determined to be on hand early and seated where he will have a pood view. To accommodate these, doors will be open and the reception committee on hand early this evening. While it is a foregone conclusion that all parents of the hundred or more youthful chorus members will be present, a large number of out-of-town visitors who have not been at the tabernacle every night, have' voiced an express intention of attending for the juniors' program.
An additional piquant touch is added to expectations for tonight by the fact that a part at least of the program is a secret even from Rev. James himself, although he has drilled the chorus since its organization by him at the beginning of the campaign. With a space roped off for the Newcastle delegation in the center of the large tabernacle, auditors filed in before the service Wednesday night until the building was packed again, in spite of prophecies of a smaller crowd due to the disagreeable weather. The Unafone and piano again figured in accompanying the congregation and chorus during the usual preliminary song service. Director Percy James directed by Rev. James. Harry Pox sang for th entertainment of the crowd also.
GOTHAM IS PRINCIPAL FREE GOLD MARKET SAYS BRITON EDITOR
(Oy Associated Press) MANCHESTER Eng., Dec. 15 New York is the principal free gold market
and all the world owes her money,! but London still remains the world's J financial center. This was the key-j note of an address by O. R. Hobson.i financial editor of the Manchester! Guardian, at. a meeting of the Manchester and Districts Bankers Insti-j tute. j "Though America's loans to Europe run into thousands of millions sterling. America has not yet learned the art of foreign investment," Mr. Hobson said. "She is not able or willing to lend to foreigners at rates competing with London rates. Again, despite the remarkable success of the Federal Reserve system. New York has never yet been able to establish a proper discount market, the smooth and economical working of which has done so much to popularize the bill on London all over the world. London Money Center "Although London has lost a certain amount of business to New York; though the general drift of the world's wealth from east "to west must continue to give New York far greater prominence as a finanical center than she had before the war, yet London's
pre-war position has not been very f-eriously affected, nor need it be yet awhile," the speaker went on.
Referring to the tendency among; banks to amalgamate, Mr. Hobson observed that high banking authorities agreed that but for this consolidation movement, British banks would not have been able to weather the slump. The inherent soundness of the British banking system, he concluded, had stood the strain and no disaster had befallen it comparable to the collapse of the Mercantile Bank of Americas. For the next few years, the course of British banking, he predicted would be rather in the direction of consolidating the position already won than of entering new fields. CAMBRIDGE CITY, Ind., Dec. 15. The great tabernacle was packed again last night despite threats of inclement weather. A delegation from Newcastle occupied a special place last night and heard Dr; E. J. Bulgla deliver one of the sermons that have made the revival services here a success. Dr. Bulgin: 'I will go unto the King, which is not according to tho law. and if I perish, I perish." Esther
iv-16. "The woman of the text is Queen Esther, the most beautiful of. all the women of Sushan. She was selected
because of her beauty to be the wife of the king, the queen of the land. Ahasuerus had ordered all maidens before him from whom to select the wife to be queen. His eye fell upon the Jewish maiden, the niece of Mordacai, and brought up in the faith of
Jehovah, and there wa3 that about
her that made the king select her tor his queen and wife. "I can not find in all scripture, sacred or profane, a more beautiful story. I believe Queen Esther is the picture typifying the Lord Jesus Christ and one of the best Old Testament types we have unless it is the lambs blood used on the Jewish altar. Esther was the wife of a king. She was a queen. If anybody on God3 footstool had a right to reverence and respect in the presence of that king, it was Esther. Takes Great Risk. "And at what risk to herself did she go into the presence of that king? Whv, I would not have gone into the presence of that old king if you would give me a quit-claim deed to every; thing in Cambridge City. "The decree has gone out that the soul shall die and then the second decree goes out, but not as the first decree because you are dead under the old Adam, and you have to be made alive again under the new Adam "I would rather have two men gen: uinely converted who will step up and say so and join the church, than to have 2,000 say so and backslide in the next week or so. "Now the next thing, Esther was n success. She actually brought the
peopie togetner. manic God for a
mediatrix. Her one hand could reach
the throne and the other hand could
reach the people. She bridged the gulf and her nation was saved. Jesus
ennst, me mediator, was a .success. One of His hands was upon Gods Eternal Throne on the one side, and the other reached down to humanity with sympathy and love. Spans Mighty Gulf. "Oh the mighty gulf that God did span at calvary! Now God's hands are absolutely tied! He can go no farther. You must make the next
move. God cannot pardon you and be just unless you appear before Jesus Christ. I am looking at a man on this platform who belongs to the Unitarians, that half way house to hell. He says he cannot believe that he can be damned because God would not be just. Therefore he will trust to the bercy of God. No you won't. You wil lnever get within a thousand miles of God, unless you deal with Jesus Christ first. "Let me prove to you from the scriplure. "Henceforth the Father judgelh no man. All judgment is committted to the Son.' You have to ride over Jesus Christ. On judgment day God will not be the judge, it is Jesus whom you have insulted and spit upon and lied about and tried to un mantle of His glory. He is the universal judge and He must bridge tho gulf by which you are to be saved. And if anv Jew had tried to save hiu-
