Conspicuous among the first of the many social functions which will take place during December was the bridge party given Thursday afternoon at the South Sixteenth, street residence of Mrs. Ben Vigran by the Richmond Sisterhood. There were 13 tables. Refreshments were served following cards. The favors went to Mrs. Robert Study, Mrs. Harry Shaw, Mrs. Delbert Cummings, Mrs. George Martin, Mies Janet Seeker, Mrs. E. J. Honoring Mrs. Albert Mitchell, nee Mildred Maibaugh, a dinner party and miscellaneous shower were given on Tuesday evenb.g by Miss Kate Husted and Miss Charlotte Husted at their home in Liberty. Baskets of red roses formed the decorations. The rooms were illuminated by red and white candles. A seven o'clock dinner was -served by the hostesses. During the evening Mrs. Claude Huddleston in a Pir-and-take contest wen six American Beauty roses, and Mrs. Walter Bossert was given three roses as the consolation prize. Each member brought some money for the treasury and ex periences in earning the money were exchanged. The net amount was the evening and later refreshments were served. The Primary department and j Cradle Roll of Grace M. K. church will I be entertained at a birthday party Saturday afternoon from 3 until 4 o'clock at the church. The W. B. A. of the Maccabees will elett officers for the coming year at their regular meeting Friday evening in the Odd Fellows hall at 7:30 o'clock. All members are asked to be present. Loyal Chapter, O. E. S. requests that all members bring the canned fruit for the Masonic home Saturday night to the regular meeting.
