CAMBRIDGE CITY. Dec. Ind. 2.The Immortality of the soul, a problem with which mankind has wrestle J since creation's dawn, was discussed by Dr. Bu'igin in the tabernacle here last nisht. He adduced the proofs of (he Bible, of reason, and of the experiences of the race to substantiate iho principle that man has a soul, imperishable and eternal. The discourse was regarded as a logical presentation of this problem which has engaged tho attention of Philosopher, theologian and scientist-: for aes, and which today 13 still a
challenge to tho intellect.
BULG'N THOUGHTS
"I don't telieve in writing a sermon. While you do that, the devil can look over your shoulder and seo what you're going to say. When I get up. the devil himself doesn't kno.v what I'm goir.e to say. "If all were Masons and lived up to their vow?, there would be no suffering widows and orphans in this world. "The best argument of the devil is. 'Not now, not now.' "There's no such thing as a hard case with Gnd Almighty. God does not a?k any man to repent when it is too late."

individuality, and God never mistakes one seed for another. In the resurrection of seeds He never gives one seed the body which belongs to another. A seed may be wrapped away for a Thousand years in the eerements of the Egyptian mummy, but a thousand ears cannot hinder its resurrection. God preserves its life and its identity, and when planted gives it a resurrection and gives it its body. Perplexing Question. "Shnl! we have our old bodies back rnd shall we know each other?
"This, of course, has been a per-1
p'exing question to those who believe in resurrection and in the doctrine of immortality. "Paul met it in his day when hp taid, 'Should it be deemed a thing incredible that God should raise the dead?' "One day when Farrady was out, a workman accidentally knocked into a jar of acid a silver cup. It disappeared and was eaten up by the acid and could not be found. The acid held it in solution. The workman was n great distress and perplexity. It was an utter mystery to him where the run had ono. So far as his
knowledge went, it had gone out of existence forever. When the great chemist came in and heard the story he threw some chemicals into th Sir, and in a moment every particle of the silver was precipitated to the bottom. He then lifted out the silver nurxet and sent it to the smith, where it was recast into a beautiful cup. "If a finite chemist can handle the particles of a silver cup in this way, what cannot the infinite chemist do v-ith the particles of human body, when dissolved in the great jar cf the universe. He can handle the universe a--:- easily as Farrady can handle an acid jar, and can control it ,t will. Whatever the particles of 'he resurrected body may be, Paul says it is going to be changed so a.', to become a spiritual body. It is o n a natural body, i. e., fle shy or mimal body; if is raised a spiritual body, fan" God do that? Ve . He dors things equal to that. in euiding man, if there is no immortality. I am not a creature limited to the body. The Creator shall not be reduced to an infinite cook and running a racial restaurant. When a tree leaves and flowers and fruits, it dies, but no such restriction holds the mind of man. The mind goes on forever. Not even the ripest scholar has touched the limit. Neither can a Webster exclude a Burke, and no DaVinci excludes a Michael Angelo No limitation or restriction holds thcmind. This alone is enough to prove that immortality must be. Shall Raphael on canvass, and shall St. Paul's cathedral, standing for three centuries, and Sir Christopher Wren perish forever from God's universe? Such cannot be without blaming the Creator with a moral monstrosity. Are Limited by Eody "Science tells us today that the earth Is flying through space at a rate rf 11 mtlrs ne:- second. We accept it
