I staid there one week and then took the train and went about 40 miles by land to Tokio. I was hero about four das. then I returned to Yokohama, and took the steamer to Hongkong. RICHMOND One of the largest outdoor sets ever erec ted tor a photo-dramatic, production was built at the William Fox Eastern ptudios for the great street scene in the William Fox production "If I Were King." from the great stage succes and novel by Justin Huntly McCarthy in which Wiliam Farnum will be reen in the role of Francois Villon at the Richmond theatre. More than city block was utilized, and on one end was erected fac simile of the palace of Louis XI, King of
France, in whose period the action ot this picturesqi-o and stirring drama takes place. The palace itself is more

Lennard Pleads Guilty In Indianapolis Court INDIANAPOLIS, Dec. 1. John L. Lennard, of Richmond, pleaded guilty to violating the federal prohibition law in the federal court here. The fed
eral indictment charged him with j transporting liquor from Hamilton, Ohio, to Richmond. After hearing the
evidence Judge Anderson ordered him to come back to the court after he had served a sentence imposed in the Wayne county courts for selling whisky, which included a fine of $100 and costs and a sentence of 30 days on the state farm. The supreme court recently affirmed the finding of the Wayne county court. After Lennard serves this sentence he will be sentenced in federal court.
