He also cited as activities of the farmers' organization the release of 36 ships on the Great Lakes for grain transportation during the freight tieup, which allowed the use of 72 railway trains for other purposes; the repeal of the nationat daylight saving law, and the establishment of a de
partment of information for keeping
members acquainted -with the organization and its work, and, to relieve public fears of unfair treatment, and
spread knowledge of, agricultural

Gwen Duke was re-elected as chairman of the township association, and
Ed Malick as secretary-treasurer,
Harvey Bosworth was chosen vice-
chairman and five directors wore
chosen to represent the different parts of the township as follows: Harry Hart, Walter Kitchell, Wil.Uam Miller,
Harry Heinbaugh and John Holland
It was decided to send a delegate at
the expense of the township to the
6tate convention as an onlooier. Gwen Duke was named as delegate, with
Clark Crowe as alternate.
Reports of the treasurer and the chairman of the purchasing committee
were presented. Of the $77 in the treasury at the beginning of the year, $65.58 remained unexpected. A report of the amount of material handled by the purchasing committee was presented also.
