CINCINNATI GATHERS ' TO HONOR MEMORY OF 'OLD TIPPECANOE'
(By Associated Press) CINCINNATI, O., Oct. 24. The first steps towards establishing a permanent memorial here for William Henry Harrison. "Old Tippecanoe," were taken today at formal dedication of the William Henry Harrison Park, and
the breaking of ground for an ornamental gateway to the park at North Bend, near here. Under an act of the legislature, the state took over the tomb site of the former president, and established the park. The gateway will be seml-clrcular, and will contain seats on both sides, with a walk leading to the Harrison tomb. General J. Warren Keifer of Springfield, former speaker of the national house of representatives, was to deliver the oration today. Children of the upper grades of Cincinnati's schools were dismissed so they could attend the ceremonies, augmenting the crowd that gathered near the tomb entrance.
The tomb of General Harrison Is a stone box, 16 feet long, 14 feet six inches wide, and 10 feet high. Twothirds of It is under ground.

MURRAY Clarence Badger, director of "An Unwilling Hero," starring Will Rogers, which opened at the Murray Monday, was also director of "Jes' Call Me Jim," "Old Hutch," "Guile of Wom
en," "Boys Will Be Boys," all Will Rogers' successes. He and the popular star work together in perfect harmony, and Goldwyn believes that by putting the two of them on a story something fine is bound to develop.
Badger has a penchant for locations, and usually takes his company miles away from the studio, into the Sierras, the coast range, or the desert, to secure genuine local color.

A3 all experienced reconteurs know, their pastiming is fraught with the
gravest danger, for, especially among
actors, the ' bolt from the blue' may strike at any time. Harry Fraser, the

which is at the Murrette theatre.
Fraser was chatting with the very dignified J. Barney Sherry, "the millionaire of the screen, 'about his boyhood days in Fresno. Incidentally he mentioned that his dearest possession was a lignum-vitae top. RICHMOND It is said students of the drama,
generally conceded to be one of the
most fascinating of all arts, will be given an unusual opportunity to study
new phases of the merely screen-old
"exact science" of visualization; of
conveying the workings of a humai
mind without the aid of words, when Lionel Barrymore is 6hown in "The Master Mind," his latest photoplay creation, which will be exhibited at the Richmond theatre Monday. Until came the advent of the silversheet as a medium for imparting entertaining knowledge of life, the study of the histrionic art was truly considerably limited, for it encompassed only the things which could be done on a stage of comparatively small dimensions.
Now, thanks to the motion picture camera, the locale of a dramatic or comedy situation is almost unlimited

Haw ancms Were Aviators In Early Days of History Thrills of flying were enjoyed by Hawaiians centuries before aviation was invented, according to stories told by
natives of today. Their ancestors got their aerial excitement by jumping off
cliffs into the ocean in home-made
who lived near groves of louhi palms near high cliffs overlooking the ocean. The game was played with huge contrivances built of light but stout sticks and overwoven with loulu palm leaves. Several of these affairs were made ready, the Hawaiian "aviators" took
their seats, and were pushed over towering cliffs at the same time. The adventurer who remained longest in the air was the winner. Old Hawalians say that their flying men. were exceptionally skillful. The only means they had of guiding their crude appliances was to shift their weight to maintain balance as they zigzagged down toward the sea. Exceptionally daring Hawalians
often hopped off thousand-foot cliffs on the mainland, It is 6aid. .i
TRAMP TRAIN RUNS WITHOUT SCHEDULE
DULUTH, Minn., Oct 24. There Is a tramp train on the Duluth and Iron Range railroad running up into the north woods that has gone on for year
71, aner year unneeuing uio nuiuivo w s nroeress. The train is known as the
Highball. She makes her nightly flight
into the north woods for the accommodation of lumberjacks, sportive
fishermen, hunters and seekers of
work, picking up a3 a side issue aj parcel of hogs or a herd of sheep. The Highball is composed of box cars, one wooden passenger coach, a combination smoker and baggage car and then a caboose, the latter serving as a sleeping car. So the Highball wends her merry way almost unheedful of a schedule, for she will drop off a fisherman or a hunter in any hour in the dead of night at any place he chooses to select station or no station; or one of the crew edoimod jo jausnq b Sip oj u.sjm. growing in the field near the tracks. The Highball waits. Or it may stop at a little cottage just around a curve where a little woman is nursing back to health a husband with a cough. The Highball stops while the crew takes up a collection of butter, eggs and potatoes gathered along the right of way. Truly, the Highball is unique as a train running in this advanced age.

EPSOM SALTS LIKE LEMONADE
"Pepgen Improved my health so
much that I was able, a few days ago, to go down town to do some shopping for the first time in months," says Mrs. C. F. Albertson, of 1725 Spruce street, Indianapolis. "I hardly know what was the trouble with me. It was Just a general run down condition, I suppose. I ached and pained all over. I just felt miserable. I was often so tired I even hated to change .clothing or walk a few blocks. I didn't feel like going anywhere. My appetite was poor. I scarcely ate enough to keep
a bird alive. I suppose this lack of food and nutrition helped to make me
weak. The little food I ate did not agree with me because my stomach was disordered. I often suffered attacks of indigestion. I also was nervous and restless. I couldn't sleep right. I woke up many times every night. "Day after day I read in the Indianapolis papers about Pepgen. Finally, I started taking this medicine. Pepgen has Improved my health 100 per cent. The tired out feeling I had before has entirely disappeared. I have new energy and strength. A few days ago I went down town for the first time in months. The trip didn't
exhaust me or wear me out at all. i
I have a splendid appetite since taking Pepgen. In fact, I can't remember when I ever ate as much or enjoyed my food as I do now. I never suffer from attacks of indigestion In addition to all this, Pepgen has improved my nerves. I sleep soundly from the
time I go to bed until morning without waking." Pepgen is a new system tonic which Is now being specially introduced at Quigley's drug stores, Richmond; B. A. Carpenter's drug store, Cambridge City, and at other leading drug stores in nearby towns. Advertisement.
