Ernest Williamson, who made the picture "Wet Gold", which is being distributed by Goldwyn and may be seen at the Murrette theatre during the week, was at a loss, when his special diving suits did not arrive at the Island of Nassau in time to take the underwater scenes in his picture. But he had not long to wait, for he soon saw a huge seaplane flying towards the island from Miami, Fla. When it descended, he found that his long-wished-for diving suits were part of the seaplane's cargo. This is the first time that a seaplane ever had such freight. The distance of the flight was 180 miles.

COURT CALLS HALT ON OIL INTERFERENCE
fBy Associated Press) MEXICO CITY, Oct. 20. Officials of the state of Vera Cruz were enjoined from interfering with the operations of the Aguila Oil company, a British concern, yesterday, by the Mexican supreme court. The injunction stopped the officials from carrying out the provisions of recents acts of the state legislature, and declared that these acts were not retroactive in that they had no effect upon titles or transactions on record before the passage of legislation. I The decision of the supreme court
was considered here as a mere formality, following its action last week in granting a temporary relief to the Aguila company. Efforts by the company to have lifted the embargo which recently was imposed by Vera Cruz state authorities to insure the payment of back taxes, were sustained by the court.

Careless Shampooing Spoils the Hair
Soap should be used very carefully, if you want to keep your hair looking its best. Most soaps and prepared shampoos contain too much alkilL This dries the scalp, makes the hair brittle, and ruins it. The best thing for steady use is Mulsified cocoanut oil shampoo (which is pure and greaseless), and is better than anything else you can use. One or two teaspoonsful of Mulsi
fied will cleanse the hair and scalp
thoroughly. Simply moisten the hair

CAN WALK," SAYS MRS.
SOUTHCOTT, OF MEDINA.
Here is another letter that makes
me happy," says Peterson, of Buffalo. "One that I would rather have than a thousand dollars." "Money isn't everything in this world. There is many a big-hearted rich man who would give all he has on earth to be able to produce a remedy with such mighty healing power as Peterson's Ointment, to sell at all druggists for 35 cents a large box." Read this letter, written February 14. 1918, by Mrs. Albert Southcott, of Medina, N. Y. It seems like a miracle, but it is true every word of it. , I know it because 1 get similar letters almost every day from people who have used my ointment for old sores, eczema and piles.
