THE
The Theatres MURRAY. In one of the scenes of "Where Men Are Men, the William Duncan production which closes its run at the Murray theater Wednesday, the star is required to shave off a heavy beard. Duncan had a difficult time trying to remove the growth of hair that decorated his face and as the scene did not require him to do the whole job, he engaged a barber to finish the work. Duncan remarked that it was the only way he could save his fs.ee as he would be marked for life if he attempted to complete the work. They were on a location at San Fernando Valley in California, The studio barber accompanied the players and found not only the star, but nearly every man in the company Eeeded his service. He stayed on location for a week, making more money he says tha nin his shop. Nick Cogley, who plays the old ne gro butler of the McLane home in Gertrude Atherton's Fcreen story, "Don't Neglect Your Wife!" produced by Goldwyn, is such an excellent portrayer of colored role3, that he is frequently mistaken for a colored man when seen in his makeup. During the filming of the New Year's reception scene in this picture, which comes to the Murray theatre for four days, commencing Thursday, there happened to be a Southern born gentlewoman on the set, who watched Cogley with much enjoyment. At the close of the scene she said to Wallace Worsley, director: "It's really a treat to see a genuine darkey again! He's a regular 'Old South' butler, isn't he?". Cogley is beginning to be dubious about continuing to play colored roles. He says each time he plays such a part he looks more like the real thing, and that as a man thinketh in his heart, so is he! MURRETTE The silver screen has recorded some of these wonders, but now come3 "Wet Gold" with more mysteries and strange fcenes from under the sea. The story is a drama of life on land and sea and under the sea. A tender love tale is told and in a sympathy compelling character lead none other than Ralph Ince plays a role that carries us through an adventure that rivals the imaginings of Jules Verne. A variety of locations' keeps up an ever-increasing interest. The story begins in New York, then moves to a quaint estate in Virginia, on to Havana, Cuba, where we see and feel all the thrills of a horse rare among the palm trees and charm of the tropics. Our horse loses, but a twist of fate immediately carries us on a fascinating venture, a voyage under-sea in a sub marine in search for treasure. It was hidden by pirates in an old wreck at tne Dottom of the sea. Others are searching for it. On the floor of the tropical ocean we see weird sights. .. j ttt . i : A

"We must insist on the reinforcement of gland functions," if ' changed by age or disease, by means of extracts obtained from similar organs of healthy animals." Dr. Arnold Lor and (Physician in Charge, Cerlibad)
KRAFT)
You don't have to use your imagination to note the difference when you take Youth-Gland. Your health, happiness, appearance and mental alertness depend upon the condition of your ductless glands. Youth-Gland revives the ductless glands by feeding them and you feel this stimulation just as surely as you feel revived when you are hungry and give your stomach food. But Youth-Gland is entirely unlike alcohol "tonics" for the stimulation is permanent and lasting from the fact that the glands are actually fed. We are the largest users of Gland Secretions in America and every tablet of Youth-Gland contains these actual secretions in appreciable quantity. Youth-Gland will rejuvenate you in appetite, body and spirit. It will bring rest to your nerves, improve your digestion, make good the over-drafts upon your energies, and by rebuildingyour tissues bring back your old-time vigor. Youth-Gland is also rich in Vitamines, Bulgarus and Nuclein therefore rich in the greatest of all life-giving, strength-building powers known to science. Brought to its present perfection by years of experiments and use by the most noted scientists of Europe. Sold in America under special arrangements with Druesen-Kraft Chemische Laboratorium of Paris and Leipzig. When you do not feel your "old-self" when over-work or worry has "pulled you down" accept this suggestion and try a short treatment with Youth-Gland Tablets. Buy Youth-Gland from your local druggist. Send your name and address direct to us (on a pest card if you wish) and we will send you a wonderful little book telling all about the glands, and their influence on your happiness and health. This booklet is too large to be included with Youth-Gland packages, so send for it whether you have bought Youth-Gland or not. Of course you may order direct from us by mail if more convenient. Be sure to state, when you buy or order, whether you wish the treatment for "male" or "female.'

Dandruff Surely Destroys The Hair Girls if you want plenty of thick, beautiful, glossy, silky hair, do by all means get rid of dandruff, for it will starve your hair and ruin it if you don't. It doesn't do much good to try to brush or wash it out. The only sure way to get rid of dandruff Is to dissolve it, then you destroy It entirely. To do this, get about four ounces ofi ordinary liquid arvon; apply it at night when retiring; use enough to moisten the scalp and rub it in gently with the finger tips. By morning, most if not all, of your dandruff will be gone, and three or four more applications will completely dissolve and entirely destroy every single sign and trace of it. You will find, too, that all itching and digging of the scalp will stop, and your hair will look and feel a hundred times better. You can get liquid arven at any drug store. It is inexpens ive ana lour ounces is ail you will need, no matter how much dandruff you have. This simple remedy never j fails. Advertisement. Laboratories, Ltd, Chicago, Illinois
