For Four Players MILWAUKEE, Wis., Sept. 20. Joe Hauser, whose rise from Milwaukee sand lots to leading first baseman in the American Association has brought repeated offers from major league teams for his sale, was sold to the Philadelphia Americans Monday by the Milwaukee baseball club. Four players, one of them Ivy Griffin, a first baseman, came to the Brew ers through the deal. Hauser is bat ting .323. At one time, in August, Mack offered President Borchert $15,000 for the sale of Hauser, but the Milwaukee prexy insisted on a player exchange. Hauser will not report to the Macks until spring and will complete the sea son with the Brewers. ANNOUNCE SCHEDULE FOR I. H. C, BOWLING LEAGUE THIS SEASON Plans for the opening of the bowling season of the International Harvester Bowling league were completed Monday night at a meeting of all men in the factory interested in the or ganization. ' Four teams will form the league this season, due to the fact that the company is not working its full force. Last year the league had eix teams and was one of the strongest leagues in the city. All games will be rolled on the Twigg alleys and be started at 7:30 o'clock Monday night. It is possible that at a later date the league will be reorganized and a six-team league formed. NEW BOWLING SEASON OPENS; TEAMS ENTER WITH NEW MEMBERS
Everything is In readiness for too opening of the City Bowling league for the season of 1921-1922, on th'3 Twigg alleys next Wednesday night. Six teams compose the league again this season and the personnel of the teams are completed and handed in to the league officials. The I. H. C, one. of the teams entered in the league has withdrawn from the league and a new team will be entered. Officers of the league stated it was possible that a team from the Pennsy would fill the vacancy. The six teams that will comprise the team are as follows: Maher Meats. Wilson Cleaners, Feltman Tramps, Pennsy, Ford3 and B. and B. Shoes. Many New Bowlers. Several of the teams have many new members on their rosters that have never rolled in the city league previous to this time. Only two teams will have practically the 6am? lineups that represented them last year, and they are the Wilson Clean ers and Feltman Tramps. These two teams staged a battle royal for first honors last year and are doped to repeat again this season. The new teams in the league will be the Pennsy, Fords and the B. and B. Shoes. These three teams with one or two men from the league last year as a nucleus have built up new teams for the coming season. The Meats are the sixth team entered and have two men on their team. The league will bowl every Wednesday Tyght and will start promptly at 8 o'clock. Every player Is requested to be at the alleys Wednesday night promptly at 8 o'clock. It will be a handicap league and averages from last year will be figured to determine the handicap for each team. Men who have no average in the City league will have the averages of the games they roll each night to figure handicaps. First Games Wednesday Wednesday night will find . the Maher Meats and Wilson Cleaners; Feltman Tramps and Pennsy; Fords and B. and B. Shoes mixing it for the first games of the season. .
