As far as weight Is concerned the
R, H. S. aggregation will not be at a
disadvantage for they can put a group of huskies on the line that will about equal anything that Mowe can advance. The scrimmage will give the Quaker instructor the opportunity of trying out the various candidates for his line lobs.

Department of Public Works, office of the Board, Richmond, Ind. To whom it may concern: Notice is hereby given by the Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond, Indiana, that on the 15th day of September, 1921, they approved an as-
I sessment roll showing the prima facie
assessments ior tne loiiowing aescrib
ing is one of the most important points of the game. He will work the men long and hard in this department. It is possible that a short scrimmage will be held against the Earlham squad. All the candidates are showing a great deal of pep in the daily workouts nnd are putting forth their best efforts. The competition for places on the team is going to be hot. although several men are showing up to a good advantage in the early practice. Mattox Looks Good. Jack Mattox looks good to retain his old position at center, and is outbidding all other candidates for that position. The other candidates are putting up a stiff fight for the line positions. Among the promising candidates is Sam Green in the guard position.
This is Gaylor's first year at the game and he is showing up exceptionally well. The tackle jobs seem most likely to be taken care of by Spaulding and Kennedy, a new comer in the Richmond schools. These men are putting up a stiff fight for the positions. Three Cornered Fight. Mulligan, Nolan and Loos- are putting up a three cornered fight for the end positions. The most promising for the places are Mulligan and Nolan. These two men had experience in the end positions last year.
Malone seems to be the leading candidate for the quarter-back position, although he is being pushed hard by Harry Eikenberry. These two men are putting up a big fight for the place, and it will not be decided until the final moment. Captain Schumaker, Loos. Brown and Walls seem to be the most promising men for the other backfield places. The most important work will be started this week, when the team will get down to the finer points of the game, such as tackling, interferance and team play. This part of the practice may bring out several new men
that at the present are not showing up to any great advantage.
