Schneider, an expert cameraman, under the supervision of Mark Larkin, director of publicity for Mary Pickford, at a time when the congestion of immigrants was greatest at Ellis Island. It is said that a near riot was occasioned when it became known to the foreigners that pictures were being taken for a Pickford play. They believed little Mary was there in person. MURRAY

"The Blazing Trail," Frank Mayo's most recent Universal photodrama, is to be shown on Monday at the Murray Theatre. It will have an especially fitting presentation. It contains remarkable scenes of mountain life In actual mountain settings. The picture deals with a young physician whose mind breaks under the strain of overwork and who goes in an isolated community In the Blue Ridge Mountains to regain his poise. While there he saves the life of a girl fcy the use of a serum for blood-poisoning, regains his mental power and finds himself thoroughly inoculated with the love-germ.
