TNEXT WEEK AT THE jT HEATREb

MURRAY VAUDEVILLE Judging from the bookings underlined for the Murray next week it looks as though the regular season bookings were beginning to materiallie. While the- summer attractions have maintained a high average, they will not compare with the regular season offerings when all the artists are back in the harness again after their vacations. The following acts are underlined to open Monday matinee for the firsthalf: Clifford and Johnston in their comedy skit, "Apple Sauce"; Lamey and Pearson, polite vaudevillians, in their comedy offering with music, "A Tale of Two Cities"; Ford and Price, "A Sensational Wire Offering," and

the Sternads in "A Classical Musical Oddity," with Robert Gordon on tha

screen in "If Women Only Knew," a five-reel Robertson-Cole production. What purports to be the "knock-out"

bill of the season is scheduled to open Thursday when Sailor Bill Reilly ana Mr. and Mrs. Mel-Burn e, farceurs, are booked as co-headliners. Sailor Reilly who was entertaining on a battleship during the war. was discovered by one of the Keith scouts, given a try-out In the smaller theatres around New York, and later given a showing at the Palace theatre, where he was the sensation of the bill.. His engagament at the Palace mads him, and since then he has been a Ftandard feature in all the Keith bigtime houses, the Murray being his first engagement in cities of this class. He will doubtless score a tremendous hit here with his exclusive songs and stories. Another big feature of this bill will be Mr. and Mrs. Bert Mel-bourne, excellent farceurs, in their highly refined comedy sketch with elaborate stago settings, entitled "On the Sleeping Porch." These artists are a standard Keith big-time headline attraction, and their engagement here is only made possible by the fact that they have sev-

These talented girls in "Mirthful Moments of Musical Comedy," are an attraction par excellence In the singing line, presented by two pretty girls who are splendid vocalists and graceful dancers. It's always a woman who makes or mar j a man. She Bets his standards, rules his heart, because he is herself his incentive and his reward. He knew it would break his mother's heart if he failed and he failed. He lived at the Biltmore and slept on a bench in the park. The man he rescued from death was his rival in love. He was looking for a job his bride was spending money lavishly, foolishly, because it was her money.
