REPORT FROM NORTH COUNTRY INDICATES NEW IRISH CRISIS
CBr Associated Pr) LONDON, Aug. 4. Indications that it is possible that England must face
a fresh Irish crisis were found today in a special despatch to the Daily News from Belfast This dispatch stated that the government of north
Ireland had definitely and finally re
fused to have anything to do with the government's proposals looking to a plan to bring peace to Ireland. It declared that Ulster would not accept the status of a dominion for the six county area included in the northern Irish government's jurisdiction either as a unit or as a state in an Irish federation, and said that northern Ireland would decline altogether to negotiate with the southern part of the country upon the basis of the memorandum sent to Sir James Craig, the Ulster premier, by the British cabinet.
