pointed for the purpose. The fair is scheduled for Sept 1

and 2. and preliminary arrangements

have been completed, while the prem

ium list is expected to be ready for

publication soon. A total of $1,000 in prizes and prem

lums probably will be offered, all but a small part of this sum having been

subscribed already. Classes are provided for a full ex

hibit of all lines of live stock, besides vegetables, grain and domestic science

and art products.. In addition races

will be held on the afternoons of the

two days of the fair.

Street permits for entertainment

concessions will be granted, although

a special effort will be exerted to keep

all entertainment of a high order. Want Merry-Go-Round Riley Layman, one of the officiala of the arrangement committee, states particularly that a merry-go-round will be one of the amusements, saying that the children of the community are insistent on this feature, and the fair will be a failure from their standpoint

The committee which is overseeing arrangements includes: George Cooper, chairman; Riley Layman, secretary; Paul McKee, treasurer; superintendents: horses, Nat Moore; cattle, Herbert Myers; hogs, Henry Miller; sheep, Lindley Baker; chickens, Dr. E. C. Test; vegetables, Aldo Cain; grain, Oliver Stewart; art, Florence Knite; domestic science, Mrs. M. R. Griffin. Cordial assistance has been given by Cambridge City and other neighboring towns, according to Mr. Layman, and. the town and country cooperating in the attempt to make the two days' fair equal to a county fair.

Exhibits are ordinarily drawn to this fair from a radius of 15 miles, say committee members.
