RICHMOND DELEGATES ATTEND CONFERENCE OF EPWORTH LEAGUE
Members of the Epworth league of the Grace M. E. church will be represented by a delegation of 11 members at the Epworfh League Institute of North Indiana conference which will be held July 25 to July 31 at Oakwood park on Lake Wawasee. The week's institute on the picturesque Indiana lake will be attended by 1.000 persons from the five districts of the North Indiana conference, namely, Richmond, Muncie, Wabash, Fort Wayne and Logansport. The Rev. W. W. Wiant, of Newcastle, one of the cities in the Richmond district, is to be dean of the institute and principal officer in charge. Speakers who will appear on the pro
gram include some of the most prominent of nationally known Methodist

Methodist workers; Dr. E. B. Cald-: well of New York city, prominent Methodist missionary; and Miss Marie Adams, who has Just returned from the mission fields of Taianfu, China. Dr. Caldwell has done work in China and Africa. In the latter place he walked- a distance of several hundred miles from Cape Town to within a short distance of the equator, visiting the African towns en route. To Enjoy Cottage. Local Epworth league members have taken a cottage for the week and will leave here Monday for the institute. Mr. and Mrs. P. J. Heery will be their chaperons. Irma Weaver, Miss Leona Weaver, Miss Esther Hamilton, Oscar Stegall, Orville-Clark, Raymond Erk and Mr. and Mrs. Heery. Newcastle, one of the active units of this district, will have 15 representatives at the conference. A faculty of 10 persons has been procured for the institute.
