On .Tnlv 5fith. 1S77. she was united In marriage with Julius L. Davis. Of this union four children were born: Wilhert, Lawrence E.. Flora A., wife of Paul Harris, and Lester C. all of whom survive her. She leaves fifteen prandchildren. and five brothers: William and Bovd, Richmond, Charles and Levi, Greensfork. and Eli of Anderson. At sixteen years of age she was converted and united with the church and lived a faithful member until her death. Her work and interest not cnfined to the church but extended to m-herever there was sickness or those to whom she could extend a helping hand. She did not grow weary of well doing. She was one of the charter members of the Webster Ladies' Aid. During her sixteen weeks of confinement to her room she was always bright and cheerful. always Joyous and happy and glad to see her friends, expressing often her trust In the Lord. On the morning of her departure she was still using her strength for the Waster in admonishing her friends to live right and raise their families In the way In which they should go. We are reminded of the words of Solomon: "Who can find a virtuous woman for her price Is above rubies." "The heart of her husband does safely trust in her. so that he shall have no need of spoil." "She shall do him sr-ood and wot evil all the davs of her life." "Her children shall rise up and call her blessed: her husband also and he ralseth her." "Faor is deceitful and beauty Is vain; but a woman that feareth the Lord, she shall be raised." , "Give her the fruit of her hands and let her own works raise her in the gates."
